Ciranova Intensive Cleaner is a water-based degreasing cleaner for deep cleaning oiled timber floors. Whether it is soap residue, surface grime or stubborn spots, Ciranova describes it as cutting through the build-up and leaving the surface clean and ready for maintenance, and as suitable for interior use and formulated not to strip or damage the wood.
Suitability and use as stated by Ciranova.
Old soap residue and grime sit on the surface and stop a maintenance oil absorbing evenly. Ciranova describes Intensive Cleaner as cutting through that build-up, so when you re-oil, the oil soaks in and bonds properly, and the floor comes back evenly.
Intensive Cleaner is for a deep clean, or to prep an oiled floor before re-oiling, not for routine weekly cleaning, which takes a gentler floor soap. If the floor is new to you, test an out-of-the-way patch first, and do not over-wet the timber.
Ciranova describes it as applied by hand or with a buffing machine, with no rinsing needed in most cases.
Deep clean and prep an oiled floor before re-oiling.
Re-oil with Ciranova Maintenance Oil once the floor is clean.
Then keep it up with Ciranova Floor Soap for routine cleaning.
