Surface protection and refresh for lacquered timber floors
Grain Guard is a ready-to-use surface treatment designed to refresh and protect lacquered timber floors that are starting to look dull or lightly worn. It forms a thin, even protective layer that helps guard the finish against everyday wear while maintaining a natural, low-sheen appearance.
Unlike oils or penetrating treatments, Grain Guard works on the surface of lacquered floors, helping to even out sheen, reduce the appearance of fine scuffs, and extend the life of the existing lacquer — without altering the colour or character of the timber.
It is intended as an occasional maintenance step, sitting between routine cleaning and professional recoating. Use up to four times per year.
