Most of what scratches a floor finish is grit, and most of that grit is loose dust sitting on top of it. The Bona Microfiber Dusting Pad lifts that off dry, along with pet hair and the sand that walks in on shoes, before a wet mop can drag any of it across your boards.

What Bona says about the dusting pad
- Bona describes the pad as safe to use across multiple floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, laminate and vinyl, because the soft microfibre lifts dust without scratching the finish.

A dry duster, not a wet pad
Use it dry. This is the pass that comes before mopping, not a substitute for it, so for wet cleaning swap to a cleaning pad and the cleaner your floor takes.
Use it, wash it, use it again
- Clip the pad onto your Bona mop head.
- Dust dry, working across the floor and finishing at the door, so you are not walking back over what you have lifted.
- Machine wash it when it stops picking up, then put it straight back on. Never store it full of dust.
General good-practice steps for the dusting pad. Keep a spare, so there is always a clean one on the mop.
